Google Updates

Google has a couple new elements going on in its results pages. The first one is the addition of brand links for some queries.
In the ones I've seen, they appear near the top of the results, just below the top paid listings. They are not links to the sites of these brands, however. They are links to SERPs for queries that incorporate those brands into them. For example, clicking "Wilson" in the footballs example will take me to results page for "wilson footballs".

Sites for users or the search engines?

Webmasters / Visitors are looking fresh content or a content needs on their project base. Nice contents or articles are important for the users in order to read and understand on what your blog is. The main purpose you create a blog is for users, to have more traffic of you blog and do in internet marketing.

For Search Engines. If you wish to rank well, then follow with the latest search engine algorithm and rules. Search Engines Sites have a different rules, algorithm, how they placed your website in the results pages. Search Engines is important for your blog, we want our blog be listed in first page of the result page. Even don't have more visitors, but our blog has been placed in first page, the visitor will click and jump to your blog when clicking your page from the result page.

I agree "We create a blog for users and search engines". If you wish to do with internet marketing, your main target is visitor. You invite people to visit your blog and if ever they clicked your referral ads then you will earned money from your ads.
