January 2009: SEO Yahoo and Ask.com Search Update
TexTex at WebmasterWorld reported that he had seen both Yahoo and an Ask.com Search Update.
He noticed Yahoo Search changes last January 18, 2009 afternoon, saying "Wew, seeing movement." Then he backed up by full member. Vimes said "I'm seeing something but not sure if I'd call it an update, the sectors I look something there is a shuffle." It may be the beginning of a Yahoo Update or it might be some sectors tweaks.
The last noticed was in November 2008 due to a Yahoo Update. Since then, there have been no confirmed of the Search Yahoo Updates. If having update now, would not surprising me, said Vimes.
Ask.com Update at front, there's a bit more discussion going on being that update was reported at webmasterworld. Textex explained this update "a complete overhaul." Full member, robzilla confirmed but cautioned that the update makes an improvement to their index. Later on, they noticed that clearing their cookies search again where "results reverted back" to their previous state. The results it was consider fresh results but with a few dozen reusults to see quality. You wonder what exactly is going on here. Try ask.com today.

November 2008: Update Google Adwords Quality Score
Google has reported to their Adwords blog which two new changes are coming to the Adwords Quality Score.
These are the details:
First, Google Quality Score Calculation Score is in need to change an ad's CTR based on the ad's position. It is not completely new change as Google has always normalized the CTR based on the ad position. Now, they are updating the issue of existing technology that they have already been using for the ad position calculation. or calculating the ad position. Using fresher and more updated data that will ensure greater accurate Adwords Quality Score.
Second, How some ads promoted to the top position. The changing of formula is used to move an ad instead from right side of page move to the listings on top of the organic results. As we know if an ad in the first position did not meet the promotion quality requirements, the ad in the second listing did meet the threshold then the second ad would not be promoted. The update or changes in place, these ads will be move and jump above the ad in the first position and promoted to the top position or top listing.
Advertisers would need to concentrate on this changes more on the ad copies and their promotional qualities particular the second one about how some ads are promoted to the top position.

November 2008 : Update Google SERP
Google was updated the Page Rank (PR), and it seems now Google update the latest search engine page ranking by removing the unusual sites from the result pages. Google RSP or Regularly Scheduled Programming has returned and look for fresh content for top ranking including the update of page rank and also ranking order of all sites and blogs.
Google looking some ups and downs websites in SERP of Google were in trouble about static ranking order due to presence of Google RSP. Regularly Scheduled Programming (RSP) is to update search engine ranking page. The ranking update will take effect of every month between 20 to 28.
